ASB Visit

A couple of weeks ago we had a visit from Vani who was from ASB.  He talked to us about the importance of saving money and where to put it when we do.

Here is some writing from Lachlan about the visit.

Today we had an ASB man at our school.  He told us how to keep our money safe in a bank.  His name was Vani.  I learnt what an eftpos card is apart from a credit card.  My chores are to unpack my bag, do the dishes, help make dinner and make my bed.

We went back in time.  First he was a caveman.  He killed a mammoth and he tried to trade it for food.  Next he was a pirate.  He was trying to move his treasure chest to his ship but he ripped his pants.

World War One Presentations

We really enjoyed learning about World War One.  We also enjoyed showing the parents our work and sharing what we have learnt. Thanks to all the parents who came.

Trip to Pukeahu

We had a great trip to Pukeahu.  We were very well behaved.  We even had strangers come up to us to tell us how great we were.
